Hi everyone,
I casually searched YouTube for "OpenQM" and found this series of videos introducing people to MultiValue systems:

1. A general introduction showing an R83 version of PICK:

2. Creating a data file in a docker version of ScarletDME:

3. Writing programs to extract data from the file created in video 2:

This is a pretty good introduction to the system. There are even some comments there from people who use UniVerse saying they learned a lot from these videos!

Readers of this group may not learn much new - but it is still an interesting set of videos to watch.

Cheers,

Brian

Great! Thanks Brian.

The instructor says his name is “Matt.” Do you know Matt’s last name? Is he a reader of this mvdbms list?

Hi Dawn,
His Github repository is here: https://github.com/racingmars  which tells us that he is "Matthew Wilson".
I don't think he is a "Pickie", and I doubt he reads this group. But he is clearly a competent programmer in C (because he notes that he updated the PAM authentication in ScarletDME and then built the docker image for everyone to use), and he does indicate some casual familiarity with PICK.
Cheers,
Brian
