♟️ Online Tournament — Tonight!
· Tuesday, 5/28 at 6:00 PM on Chess.com. If you’re not a member, please search for the Mission Viejo Chess Club and request to join us!
· Hosted by Leah, our newest club administrator!
· This week features a 10‑minute arena — jump in for as many (or as few) games as you like. It’s unrated, low‑pressure, and all about fun and bragging rights.
· Sign in early so the event doesn’t auto‑cancel.

This is our formal monthly meeting (first
Tuesday through August).
September will shift to a new day — more details soon.

Cost: $5 for all three summer meetings — covers the room, advertising, and club

♟️ OC Maker Faire — Volunteers Needed
We currently have six volunteers for our booth at the OC Maker Faire in September, and we’d love a few more.
This is a fun community‑service event where we’ll offer:
- Chess puzzles (bring your best Mate in 1)
- Quick lessons
- A possible simultaneous exhibition by one of our masters
Shifts are only 2–3 hours. Please let me know if you can help!
