Blitz tournament vs. casual chess hangout

Hello MV Chess Club!

We are contemplating an unrated blitz tournament on either Thursday, July 16 or Monday, July 20 at 4:30pm at the Florence Joyner Olympiad Park. It would be a casual tournament for all ages and chess stages, dividing participants into teams. There will be chess lapel pins for all players and awards + claim to fame for the winners!

However, to move forward we need you to let us know which date you can attend by July 6. If we get at least 10 RSVPs for one day, we'll make it happen. Otherwise, we'll host our usual informal chess hangout on the more popular date. Fun will be had either way!
