Hello All,
In recognition of the work of the City’s Environmental Sustainability Task Force, you are invited to attend a Study Session and Reception on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 at 6:30pm at City Hall. (See attached invitation)
The Task Force and Working Group Chairs will make very brief presentations, followed by comments from the public and Council. Following the Study Session, attendees are invited to a Reception, where light appetizers, dessert, and drinks will be served. You will also have an opportunity to meet the Task Force members, who will be on hand with displays that depict their recommendations.
The Task Force’s recommendations are available for download on the City’s Environmental Sustainability web site.
I look forward to seeing you on October 7th as we celebrate the Task Force’s tremendous achievements and service to the Mountain View community.
Regards,
Steve

Hello All,
As a follow up to my email below, I wanted to provide a reminder about the Study Session and Reception for the Environmental Sustainability Task Force next Tuesday evening, 10/7.
Please see the attached invitation, and below email, for additional details.
Let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to seeing you next Tuesday.
Cheers!
Steve
Hello All,
I just received an invitation from one of the Task Force members who is running a tour of a Mountain View “Green Home” that’s very near City Hall. (This is one of the homes featured in the recent Green Home Tour.) It has some rather unusual features, even by “green” standards, e.g. a geothermal heat pump, and a 10,000 gallon rainwater collection system.
He has scheduled it so as not to conflict with tonight’s 6:30pm Study Session. Details are below, and information about the home is attached.
You don’t need to RSVP; just show up at the house.
Cheers
Steve

Steve,
I will be giving a tour this evening of the new green home that represented Mountain View on the Green Home Tour last weekend for some of the neighbors and I thought that perhaps members of the Task Force and other City Employees who are attending the meeting tonight might be interested.
The tour will begin at 5:30 and will end by 6:15 so that we can get back to the meeting by 6:30. The house is located at 96 Eldora at the corner of Francis, one block south of Caldron. It is about 6 blocks from City Hall.
Could you please forward this to your distribution list and anyone else that you think might be interested.
Thanks,
Randy
