Hello Task Force Members,

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday season, and 2009 has started off well for you.

I wanted to let you know about an event next Monday (1/12) at 6:30pm in Palo Alto that might be of particular interest to you. Details are below, and at this site, but basically it's an opportunity to briefly hear from 3 local City sustainability folks (Menlo Park, Mt. View, Palo Alto), and then dialogue in small groups with the attendees and speakers to brainstorm and create real-world sustainability solutions among governments, businesses, and non-profits.

This is not just a "talking heads" presentation where you sit passively and do nothing the whole evening. This is an opportunity hear what's happening sustainability-wise in some local cities, and then contribute your creative ideas and energy toward actual solutions. Heck...it's also a great place to network!

It would be great to see you if you can make it. If not, feel free to forward to anyone you think might be interested. We're driving to get a really good turnout.

(Register by Friday for discount pricing.)

May 2009 be a happy and prosperous year for you!

Cheers,

Steve
