Hello Task Force Members,
I wanted to provide a reminder and a few more details about next week’s two meetings with the General Plan climate change consultants.
Tuesday, 9/30
6:00-9:00pm, Atrium conference room (first floor of City Hall, near the back elevator on the left)
Thursday, 10/2
6:00-8:30pm, Mountain View Public Library (room t.b.d.; signs will be provided)

Working Group Chairs: Please note the approximate time that your working group will be participating, in case you’re not able or interesting in attending the whole meeting.
And, following are a few details from the event organizer, so you have a better sense is to the event format:
“I’d really like to keep the discussion informal, and just go around the room asking someone from each subcommittee to discuss (1) the rationale behind the recommendations which made it to the final list, and (2) the factors they considered in prioritizing them. We can certainly get that from the report, but there’s tremendous value in hearing it first-hand. Not all measures will provide GHG reductions that are quantifiable – but some will. These discussions will provide a critical first-step for us in beginning to assemble a list of reduction measures and determine which ones will provide quantifiable reductions.”
