Jacob Smith Lecture: 40s Voice Technologies

The IU Mediated Sound Group is pleased to present a CMCL-sponsored lecture by sound scholar Jacob Smith. Smith will be presenting and building upon his article "Tearing Speech to Pieces: Voice Technologies of the 1940s" (attached to this email). The lecture will be on Tuesday, November 17, at 4 p.m. in Room 100, 800 E. Third Street.
