Hi Everyone,

This is info I got from the Midwest Society for Acoustic Ecology (see below). Sonic weapons have been discussed for some years now, part of a new generation of allegedly humane "non-kill" weaponry such as the taser and heat canons. However, to my knowledge, the G20 summit was the first time that one of these sound weapons was used in the U.S. Of course, these things first get tried out on people with politically marginal views and a smaller media platform.

re-posting from the NYSAE group...I wasn't convinced these so-called sonic weapons really existed, but now it seems clear that they do in these videos showing there use on student demonstrators last month in Pittsburgh.
