Get a USB2SDR unless you are a Linux fan and you are prepared to use
2 installed sound cards with PSDR. Otherwise the Widget is slightly
superior in audio performance but limited in its interface with PSDR
and Windoze.

I have used both in addition to the Edirol FA-66 and the M Audio Delta
44/66
the best audio performer was the widget but only by a small margin.
The next best was the USB2SDR which also had full interface with PSDR
IQ
Inc PTT and separate level controls for each band. If you use PSDR
then
there si no better way to go as yet than the USB2SDR.
If you use linux and multi sound cards then maybe the widget would be
the one. I believe there are no pre assembled widgets available but
there may be limited numbers of kits available from the "silver Fox"

Hi Ron

Eric is a little out of date on progress.

A Win7 192k driver was just released a week or so ago. The widget will do 192k just like the USB2SDR. It is an open source project. And it cost way less then the USB2SDR. The widget controller works with the MOBO That part is a work in progress on the USB2SDR. If you can't find a widget   and do decide to go the widget route I can probably hook you up.

...Also you don't really need 2 soundcards in windoze.

Just use a key sequencer to mute your audio - no feedback problems then with built-in audio!

That's great.  You have my one and only widget with you.  I wanted a second one for portable
use.

I have an unused Widget that was built, tested and working – I’ll sell it to you for what I paid for it if you are interested.
