Youth Horsemanship Camp July 12-14

You are receiving this email if you are connected with 4-H or horsemanship in some way. MM Training and Consulting is holding its annual youth camp July 12-14. This is a great summer opportunity for children aged eight to 18 who have a horse to ride and an interest in learning horsemanship skills that focus on safety, sportsmanship, and establishing a solid relationship with their mount.

Ground training, under-saddle training, equitation,  leadership games and character-building skills are just some of the activities planned during the camp, which will be held at MM Training and Boarding Stables in Potlatch.

 

As a prerequisite, registrants must be able to walk, trot and canter their horses in a controlled manner in an outdoor arena. Horse vaccinations must be up-to-date.

 

Overnight camping -with no hookups - is available, and some box stalls are available to those who place the first non-refundable deposits. Outdoor pens are available for a minimal fee on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants can also bring their own stock panels.
