Thrift Store opening approaching

at 913-648-0700 (cell 816-812-5718) to make a donation or to find out
about specific needs. The store is located at 9620 Nall (Southwest
corner shopping center at 95th and Nall).
According to Rick, many volunteers are needed to help run the store.
Volunteers may work 4- or 8-hour shifts helping check out customers,
sort and stock items, price items, manage expenses and continue
improvements on the store area. (Store hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Monday through Saturday.)
Items desirable for the store include:
Housewares and other household, Hardware
Kitchen items, dinnerware, glassware, silverware,
cups/mugs, towels, vacuums, wet vacs, tools, large and small
appliances in working order
Clothing: Adult and children. Bring to store or look for American
Clothing bins that will appear soon for collection of clothing items.
Furniture
Kitchen tables & chairs, buffets, hutches, ,sofas, chairs,
end tables, lamps, bedroom sets, night stands,
unused mattress/box springs, dressers, game tables,
pictures, picture frames
Entertainment
TV's, radios, stereos, games, DVD's, CD's, tapes, cassettes,
electronic players, sporting goods
Toys and Books
Toys in good condition, kid's furniture, electronics, games
Donations: personal/corporate cash, proceeds from fund raisers
A pickup can be scheduled for large items if you cannot deliver
A $50 donation is requested. In return, you receive a $20 voucher
