Spring Fling To Support Christmas Stores

Metro Lutheran Ministry will hold its annual Spring Fling on Saturday,
March 24, from 8 a.m.-noon at Bethany Lutheran Church, 9101 Lamar,
Overland Park.

The Spring Fling is the major fund-raiser to support the MLM Christmas
Stores. All proceeds from the event go toward purchasing food vouchers
that will be distributed to more than 1,200 families who are expected
to visit one of the MLM Christmas Stores this year.

The Spring Fling will be a fun-filled day starting with a pancake
breakfast, silent auction, games, bake sale, candies, crafts and
lunch.

Volunteers and donations are still being sought in order to ensure a
fun-filled day that generates needed funds for the MLM Christmas
Stores. Requests include:

o Donations for the silent auction
o Homemade candies and baked goods
o Donations for the craft sale
o Volunteers to staff the many activities, for setup and teardown.

All donations should be dropped off at the church on Friday evening,
March 23, between 5 and 7 p.m.
Most importantly, please plan to attend the MLM Spring Fling to ensure
food vouchers for families this Christmas!
