We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the Doctoral Consortium of RuleML+RR 2026, co-located with Declarative AI 2026 in Vilnius (August 24–26, 2026).

The Doctoral Consortium (DC) aims to attract and support PhD students working on rule-based formalisms and reasoning in Artificial Intelligence, offering a unique opportunity to present ongoing research, receive feedback from leading experts, and engage with the community in a friendly and constructive environment.

Who should apply:

  • PhD students at an early or intermediate stage
  • Exceptional Master’s students planning to pursue a PhD

Submission details:

  • Paper length: 5–9 pages (CEUR-WS CEURART, 1-column format)
  • Include a maximum 2-page CV (submitted in the same PDF; not published)
  • Papers must be original and written in English

Submissions should cover:

  • Problem statement and motivation
  • Overview of related work
  • Research questions and proposed approach
  • Preliminary results (if available)
  • Methodology and expected contributions
  • Research plan

Important dates (AoE):

  • Submission deadline: June 12, 2026
  • Notification of acceptance: July 3, 2026

Accepted papers will be published in CEUR Workshop Proceedings and presented during a dedicated session at the conference. A Best Doctoral Consortium Paper Award will be granted.
