🚀 We're hiring a Scientific Programmer / Research Engineer for the future of OpenML.

4-year funded position. Leiden-based (15 min by train from Amsterdam Airport). You'd work directly with Holger Hoos, Joaquin Vanschoren, and me on one of the most widely used open platforms in machine learning research.

What you'll work on:
🔧 Elegant APIs and intuitive interfaces that make OpenML accessible to everyone, from first-time users to expert researchers 🤖 Defining and building agentic interfaces to OpenML 🌐 Strengthening OpenML's federated position, integrating seamlessly with infrastructure like HuggingFace and DataVerse 💻 Improving the OpenML codebase and reviewing contributions from our global community
