I (Jes Frellsen) am hiring a PhD student at DTU Compute to work on uncertainty quantification for large language models.

🎯 The goal: make LLMs more trustworthy by getting them to quantify the confidence behind what they generate, using principled uncertainty quantification methods scaled to modern model sizes.

🤝 In collaboration with Christian Hardmeier (ITU/P1) and Hannah Rohde (UoE). 3 years, starting fall 2026. Ideal if you have a background in probabilistic ML and some experience with LLMs.
