The 'Advanced Machine Learning and Industrial Control Group' of University of Padova is looking for expressions of interests for various 1-2 years postdoc/postgraduate researchers positions. 

Starting date: from November 2022 to January 2023

Duration: 12-24 months 

Topics: Machine Learning-based Anomaly Detection, Continual Learning, Explainable Artificial Intelligence, Reinforcement Learning, Industrial Applications of Machine Learning (Predictive Maintenance, Soft Sensing)

Type of Research: Depending on candidate expertise, research activities can be more methodological or applied, in the latter case with the chance of collaborating with important industrial companies (like Electrolux or Infineon Technologies) or AI companies (like Statwolf).

Advisor: Prof. Gian Antonio Susto

Required qualifications:

- M.Sc./Ph.D. with focus on Machine Learning-related topics;

- Good programming skills with prior expertise in Python.

Salary: from € 19367 (gross - 'RAL') depending on qualifications
