We seek a postdoc starting January 1, 2026 or before, working on algorithmic fairness for fetal ultrasound foundation models. Application deadline September 15.
This is a hands-on project whose goal is to detect and mitigate systematic AI errors in close collaboration with technical, clinical and industrial researchers. We seek a colleague who enjoys the detective work of understanding systematic AI errors; who is eager to collaborate across disciplines; and who is passionate about using AI to create better healthcare for all.
The project -- FairFM -- is a collaboration between my group at DTU - Technical University of Denmark; Mads Nielsen at Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen - DIKU; Martin G Tolsgaard at CAMES and Rigshospitalet; and Tanja Danner and Anders Nymark Christensen at Prenaital. Funded by DIREC - Digital Research Centre Denmark.
