Dear all,

The second edition of the Spring School on Learning Over Time (LOT 2.0) will be held in Barcelona from April 27 to 30, 2026. Save the date! (Previous edition: Siena, Italy - https://collectionless.ai/school)

The school focuses on machines that continuously and sustainably learn over time, with a particular emphasis on rethinking the role of data in this process and on lean learning solutions, inspired by Collectionless AI (https://collectionless.ai/).

The school is organized by:
- Paolo Dini (CTTC)
- Marco Miozzo (CTTC)
- Vincenzo Lomonaco (LUISS University)
- Stefano Melacci (University of Siena)

Fees: 
500€ Academy, 700€ Industry (50€ Gala Dinner).

News from the second edition of the Spring School on Learning Over Time (LOT 2.0), Barcelona, April 27 to 30, 2026 held in CTTC. 

We have talks’ abstracts and the preliminary program.
Prof. Joost Van de Weijer will present a talk on “Toward Lifelong Learning in Foundation Models”
Prof. Stefano Melacci & Prof. Alessandro Betti will present a talk on “Collectionless AI - Hamiltonian Learning: From Optimal Control to Perpetual Generation and Continual Memory"

If you wish to present a poster, please submit a short abstract (max. 2 pages) including title, authors, and affiliation by April 5th via lot2s...@cttc.es. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by the April 12thl.
There will be a Best Poster Award selected by the scientific committee during the school.
We look forward to your contributions and an engaging poster session.

Remember that if you are enrolled in a PhD program that requires a final exam for credit assignments, just let us know. We will organize a final exam for all the students who want to participate.
