Dear all,
World modeling is becoming a central theme in AI research. With this workshop, we aim to bring together researchers who work on different approaches of world modeling to establish a shared vocabulary, identify common challenges, and surface synergies that can move the field forward.
Call for submissions:Participants interested in presenting a poster are invited to submit a 4-page extended abstract (
OpenReview Link). You can use this opportunity to present early-stage results, insightful negative findings, opinion pieces, or novel datasets. We also welcome published or accepted works (e.g. at previous or upcoming AI conferences) for submission. All submissions will undergo a double-blinded peer-review process. The accepted abstracts are non-archival.
Our keynote speaker line-up:- Yoshua Bengio (LawZero, Mila, UdeM)
- Yann LeCun (Meta, NYU)
- Sherry Yang (Google DeepMind, NYU)
- Shirley Ho (Flatiron Institute, NYU)
- Jürgen Schmidhuber (The Swiss AI Lab, KAUST)
We also have
two special talk series:Methods Deep Dive: These talks are in-depth examinations of state-of-the-art methods for world modeling.
Tutorials: Hands-on sessions that offer practical design choices, guide participants through implementation, and provide background on core topics and ingredients of world modeling.
We hope to receive your submission to WMW26 and to see you in Montreal!
Best regards,
Xiaofeng Zhang, PhD candidate at Mila, Visiting Researcher at FAIR,
