We are currently opening positions in the area of AI for Remote Sensing within the newly established Artificial Intelligence Methods Lab (AIML) from September 1st and January 1st.

Research topics include ESA and national projects:

• Vision-language models (VLMs)
• Deep learning for satellite imagery
• Multimodal AI systems
• Remote sensing and Earth observation
• Agentic AI workflows and autoresearch systems
• Explainable and trustworthy AI

Open opportunities include:

• Postdoctoral fellowships (starting September 2026)
