A post-doc position under the supervision of Dr. Bolic at the University of Ottawa, Canada is available. The candidate will work on the detection, classification, and localization of UAVs based on a video stream using deep and/or probabilistic machine learning. Knowledge of deep learning/computer vision techniques for object detection and classification is required.
Knowledge of algorithms for tracking, sensor fusion, and signal processing is desired. Experience with UAVs is beneficial.
You will be working in a multidisciplinary team that includes scientists in different fields from the University of Ottawa as well as several other Canadian universities and research centers.
The applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in STEM disciplines obtained in the past three years, with evidence of research productivity. Applicants must show that their previous research or industrial work is related to the project.
