Our Rational Intelligence Lab (ri-lab.org) at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security is looking for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers to join us.

We are interested in candidates who are excited about developing the next generation of machine learning foundations, with research spanning topics such as:

• Generalization and out-of-distribution learning
• Causal machine learning
• Imprecise probabilistic machine learning
• Multi-agent learning and AI alignment
• Decision making under uncertainty
• Incentive-aware learning
