[PhD position] Optimization, Machine Learning, and AI at Prague University of Economics and Business

We are looking for a motivated PhD student to join our research group at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), Prague, Czech Republic.

The PhD project will focus on one or more of the following areas:

• Optimization and Mathematical Programming
• Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Operations Research
• Data Analytics
• Portfolio Optimization
• Explainable AI (XAI)

We are seeking candidates who hold (or expect to complete before enrollment) a Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, or a related field. A strong mathematical and programming background is desirable.
