MUSTCV 2026: The 5th Workshop on Computer Vision for Multimedia Spatial
Intelligence through Time (formerly CV4Metaverse)
Co-located with ECCV 2026 | Malmö, Sweden
Workshop Date: September 9, 2026
Submission Deadline: July 31, 2026 (AoE)

========================================================================
Dear Colleagues,
We invite extended abstract submissions to the 5th edition of the MUSTCV Workshop, held in conjunction with ECCV 2026 in Malmö, Sweden.
Our NON-ARCHIVAL EXTENDED ABSTRACT TRACK is now open until JULY 31, 2026.
This track is specifically designed to provide high visibility for work in 3D/4D spatial intelligence, cross-modal generation, and temporal scene understanding. It offers a low-friction platform to present accepted ECCV 2026 main-conference papers, ongoing projects, or recent arXiv preprints to a focused community.
*** WHY SUBMIT TO THE NON-ARCHIVAL TRACK? ***
- ZERO PUBLICATION CONFLICT: Submissions are non-archival, meaning you retain full rights and can present previously accepted (e.g., ECCV main conference) or upcoming work without conflict.
- MAXIMIZE VISIBILITY: Present your work during our dedicated poster session in Malmö.
- ZERO EXTRA FEES: Free to submit and present.
- WORLD-CLASS KEYNOTES: Engage with our line-up of invited speakers:
• Prof. Angela Dai (Technical University of Munich)
• Prof. Andrea Vedaldi (University of Oxford)
• Prof. Gerard Pons-Moll (University of Tübingen)
*** TOPICS OF INTEREST ***
We welcome contributions covering theoretical frameworks, novel machine learning applications, and new datasets/benchmarks across 3D/4D domains, including but not limited to:
- Spatial and Dynamic Scene Understanding (Continuous interaction, 3D/4D reconstruction, depth estimation, spatio-temporal tracking).
- Cross-Modal 3D/4D Generation and Synthesis (Text-to-3D/4D, audio-driven motion, editing/manipulating spatial scenes using foundation models).
- Immersive Applications and Datasets (ML for AR/VR, digital twins, interactive multimedia, and benchmarking evolving environments).
*** SUBMISSION FORMAT ***
- Format: Extended Abstracts up to 4 pages (excluding references) using the ECCV/LNCS format.
- Platform: Submissions are managed via OpenReview.
- Deadline: July 31, 2026 (11:59 PM Anywhere on Earth)
