Interested in pursuing a PhD in machine learning in an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment in Norway?

The eight three-year fully funded projects address a broad range of topics, including:

• Bayesian inference for foundation models
• Logic, knowledge representation, and learning
• Data attribution for large language models
• Bias and fairness in vision–language models
• Machine reasoning and knowledge representation
• Probabilistic representation learning
• Structured reasoning with foundation models

 

As a PhD student in Norway, you are employed at the university with a good salary, full welfare benefits, including health and pension rights. 

The PhDs are at our two centres of excellence: Integreat - Norwegian Centre for Knowledge-driven Machine Learning at the University of Oslo and UiT The Arctic University of Norway and TRUST - The Norwegian Centre for Trustworthy AI.
