Dear all,
I am looking for a 2-year postdoc to work on efficient foundation model architectures at the University of Edinburgh!
This is part of ARIA (Advanced Research + Invention Agency)’s initiative for Scaling Compute: AI at 1/1000th the cost.
As a postdoc, you will conduct blue-sky research and help us design a new benchmark for foundation models to identify optimal trade-offs between accuracy, efficiency, and cost.
This will inform the design of the next generation of hardware, streamlining accelerators for real-world AI use cases.
You will be part of a wide research team with me (as PI), Luo Mai, Wenda Li, and Boris Grot (Edinburgh Informatics), Yiren Zhao (Imperial College London), Adrian Jackson and Nick Brown (EPCC).
