A fully funded PhD position in UK: Multi-modal Understanding of Human Heart

Dear all,

I would like to share a fully funded PhD position at the University of Sheffield, UK in the area of multi-modal cardiac modelling and AI for healthcare.

The project focuses on learning cardiac structure and function from MRI, CT, ultrasound, ECG, demographics, and clinical history. Students will join an active group working on generative modelling, medical imaging, and clinical data analysis, with opportunities to collaborate with clinical partners and international research groups. Recent outputs from the team include an award-winning study in AIiH 2025 and publications in ICCV and European Heart Journal.

The award covers full tuition (UK or international), a UKRI-rate stipend for 3.5 years, and a project-linked research budget.
