Dear all,
Clausthal University of Technology currently has an opening for a tenure track
position on the intersection of AI and (IT) security, which I believe to be
relevant for many members of this group.
The position is a so-called junior professorship (W1 pay scale in the German
system), which will be converted to a permanent associate professorship (W2) in
case the tenure-track success criteria are fulfilled (after at most six years).
These criteria are negotiated and made transparent during the hiring process, so
that the successful candidate has a long-term perspective for building up her/his
own research group with us.
Our university is a smaller but very international university close to the center
of Germany. We are starting a new course of study in "AI Engineering" this fall,
and the successful candidate will get the opportunity to shape this course of
study with us.
