Ellison Institute of Technology, AI and Robotics Institute (Oxford, UK)  is hiring for multiple positions in Foundation Models for Embodied AI to join us. You will have a unique opportunity to both advance the research frontier in foundation models and embodied AI, and to deliver real systems with direct impact. You will work closely with a highly cross-disciplinary team spanning robotics, scientific domains, and software infrastructure, contributing both deep technical innovation and hands-on execution.
We are looking for candidates with:
Experience with foundation models, including one or more of the following (but not limited to):
Autoregressive models: Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Vision-Language-Action Models (VLAs)
Diffusion and other generative models
Multimodal models operating over diverse data types
Agentic AI across virtual and physical environments
Deep reinforcement learning
Comfort working in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary, and mission-driven environment. Additional experience with scientific workflows and robotics is a plus.
