Dear colleagues,

Please circulate to your MSc/PhD students and early-career researchers: the IEEE-RAS Technical Committee on Agricultural Robotics and Automation (AgRA) is inviting applications for a Student Representative role for the 2026–27 term.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain visible leadership experience, expand their international network, and help shape community activities in agricultural robotics (e.g., sensing & perception, autonomy, field robotics, precision farming, and livestock automation).

Role overview:

• Support AgRA activities such as webinars, workshops, and community events

• Help strengthen student engagement (including around major conferences such as ICRA/IROS)

• Contribute to outreach and communications (website/social/newsletters)

• Represent the student voice within the TC

Eligibility and term:

• Registered MSc or PhD student and current IEEE-RAS student member

• Term: 1 March 2026 – 28 February 2027 (renewable, up to three consecutive years)

• Applicants may apply to only one IEEE-RAS Technical Committee

• 1-page letter of motivation

• Letter of support from the supervisor

• CV
