ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
RLVG brings together RL researchers and game development practitioners to explore how video games can serve as verifiable benchmarks for RL research, and how emerging RL methods can be translated into practical tools for game production.
We welcome submissions on topics including (but not limited to):
• Data Efficiency in Games: sample-efficient, offline, and dataset-driven RL from gameplay data
• Open-ended Learning for Games: continual and lifelong RL in video games
• World Models for Games: model-based RL and learned world dynamics in game engines
• Foundation Models for Games: multimodal, generative, and language-conditioned agents
• Alignment and Evaluation in Games: reward learning, preference learning, and human-in-the-loop frameworks
• Multi-agent Systems in Games: self-play, population-based training, and emergent behavior
• Benchmarks and Real-world Deployment: RL benchmarks from modern games, NPC control, QA, and procedural content generation
