Dear colleagues,
We are organising the INFUSE workshop on information access in uncertainty scenarios at the European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR ’26) on April 2nd in Delft, Netherlands.
Our goal is to bring together the broader information retrieval community and researchers and practitioners from adjacent disciplines to discuss emerging challenges, share diverse perspectives, and explore novel approaches to information access in contexts of uncertainty. Such contexts include situations where information is scarce or non-existent, where data voids or unanswerable questions arise, where knowledge is evolving (e.g., current events, emerging topics, or rumours), or where multiple perspectives coexist (e.g., debated topics).
We invite participants to submit abstracts only (up to 600 words) with links to references directly to EasyChair. Submissions may include descriptions of ongoing projects, work presented elsewhere, or ideas and perspectives that are still in development.
