5th Human-centric Multimedia Analysis Workshop
ACM Multimedia 2024, Melbourne, Australia
Dear Researchers,
The 5th Human-centric Multimedia Analysis Workshop is inviting your precious work, which aims to amalgamate cutting-edge research and foster a collaborative effort to delve into the emerging opportunities and challenges within human-centric multimedia analysis. It seeks to evaluate state-of-the-art methodologies, introduce groundbreaking approaches, and highlight real-world applications spanning intelligent surveillance to fashion design. Furthermore, the workshop is dedicated to presenting novel datasets, stimulating discussions on future research trajectories, and encouraging submissions across a broad spectrum of topics including, but not limited to, face and human detection, pose estimation, human-object interaction, and anomaly detection. Through original research and survey papers, this workshop is poised to provide a comprehensive update on the current research landscape, thereby benefiting both scholars and practitioners in the expansive field of multimedia. We'll set up multiple awards to encourage high quality HCMA research in both academia and industry.
Topics of this workshop include but not limited to:
Face generation, detection and recognition, face anti-spoofing, face landmark detection and parsing.
Human generation, detection, pose estimation, human parsing, and pose tracking.
Human 3D shape estimation and reconstruction.
Human gait recognition, person re-identification, and person tracking.
Human action recognition and detection
Human activity recognition using non-visual sensors
Human-computer interaction / Human object interaction
Multimedia event detection
Anomaly event detection
Human crowd analysis
