The newly established Computational Linguistics group at the University
of Tübingen invites applications for two full-time postdoc positions.
The positions are available from October 2026 for an initial period of 2
years.
We work at the intersection of NLP and the cognitive and social
sciences, developing state-of-the-art methodologies to gain a deeper
understanding of the inner workings and failure cases of communication,
in both humans and LLMs. The group provides an interdisciplinary
research environment, connected to the humanities and the Tübingen AI
community (Excellence Cluster Machine Learning for Science).
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to co-shape a newly
established research group and to build a strong, independent research
profile within the broader focus areas of the group. For examples of our
past work see:

For full consideration, apply by June 15.
