Dear colleagues,

The EUSFLAT VII European Summer School on Fuzzy Logic and Applications (SFLA 2026) will be held in Warsaw from 6 to 10 July 2026.

This one-week intensive course will focus on the following topics covered by excellent speakers:

· Michał Baczyński (University of Silesia in Katowice), "A survey of fuzzy logical connectives and their applications”,

· Susana Montes (University of Oviedo), "Beyond single numbers: exploring interval data with aggregation and dissimilarity measures”,

· Sébastien Destercke (Université de technologie de Compiègne), "Fuzziness in supervised machine learning: focus on data and predictions”,

· Maria Brigida Ferraro (University of Rome), "Fuzzy clustering”,

· Martin Štěpnička (University of Ostrava), "From fuzzy relations to decision-making”.

Each day, participants – primarily PhD students and early-career researchers – will attend a lecture delivered by a distinguished guest speaker, followed by hands-on practical sessions and workshops. These activities are designed to introduce participants to current advances in fuzzy set theory and its applications, while fostering teamwork and developing collaborative research projects. A defining feature of the SFLA is its strong emphasis on student-lecturer interaction and collaboration. Sample time is dedicated to discussion of challenging concepts, as well as to social and sporting activities that encourage informal exchange and networking.

The 2026 edition is organized at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science of the Warsaw University of Technology, under the auspices of the Polish Society for Fuzzy Sets (POLFUZZ).
