Applications are invited for a fully funded two-year postdoctoral position in Statistics/Machine Learning or closely related fields under the supervision of Prof. Souhaib Ben Taieb at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The research lab explores diverse topics, including probabilistic machine learning, uncertainty quantification, conformal prediction, time series forecasting, and anomaly detection, in collaboration with leading academic and industry partners. 

The position is fully funded, including

Key Qualifications  

• A PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computational Statistics, or a related field with a focus on Statistics, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in programming with hands-on experience using popular ML libraries in Python
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Publications in top-tier conferences and journals, such as ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, AISTATS, AAAI, or KDD.
