Dear all,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am pleased to invite submissions to the Empowering Women of Colour in AI-Driven Mental Health Research Workshop, which will be part of the IJCAI-25 Diversity and Inclusion Program.

This workshop aims to highlight cutting-edge research that leverages machine learning and deep learning algorithms to detect mental health conditions, with a particular focus on anxiety disorders (AD). We are especially interested in contributions that apply state-of-the-art AI techniques to promote mental health equity and support underserved communities.

Submission Categories

  • Two-page papers (with unlimited references and appendices): For initial results from ongoing research projects using novel approaches. Accepted papers will be considered for the poster session, and posters will be published on the workshop's website.

  • Four-page papers (with unlimited references and appendices): For recent results from published work in medical or machine learning journals. The publication should be no older than six months from the submission deadline. The submitted title must differ from the original publication, and submissions with more than 20% (self-)plagiarism will be rejected. Accepted papers will be invited for the lightning talk session and will be published in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings, which are open access.

  • Submission deadline: June 15, 2025 (AoE) ---Extended to July 7the 

  • Notification of acceptance: July 15, 2025

  • Final versions due: August 15, 2025

  • Workshop dates: July 16–22, 2025
