=============================================================================
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to revolutionize medical care; however, concerns related to fairness, transparency, and trust remain critical. Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) plays a key role in addressing these challenges by enhancing transparency, accountability, and trustworthiness in AI-driven healthcare systems. XAI provides understandable insights into clinical decision-making processes, enabling healthcare professionals to trust AI recommendations and empowering patients to actively participate in their care. Moreover, it helps mitigate ethical risks such as biased or discriminatory outcomes and supports the validation and integration of AI technologies into clinical workflows.
The goal of this workshop is to explore and present research contributions, methodologies, and case studies focused on the integration of XAI in the medical domain. The workshop provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to share advances aimed at improving transparency and trust in medical AI systems.
We warmly welcome submissions and encourage contributions that foster discussion, exchange of ideas, and collaboration within the community. The workshop is intended as an open forum for sharing ongoing research, innovative perspectives, and emerging directions in XAI for healthcare.
