We are pleased to invite you to the LSE Department of Statistics Research Showcase 2026, taking place Tuesday 26 May – Thursday 28 May 2026 at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
This three-day event will bring together researchers from academia and industry to share the latest developments across a broad range of statistical topics.
The programme will include:
Talks from industry, faculty and PhD researchers
New and emerging work in data science, statistical learning, social statistics, and probability in finance and insurance
A dedicated opening workshop on “Generative AI: Research Advances and Applications”
Networking opportunities, including a drinks reception and poster sessions
Confirmed and invited speakers include contributors from organisations such as AstraZeneca, Barclays, GitHub, Meta, and the University of Cambridge, alongside colleagues from LSE.
The event is free and open to all, and we warmly encourage you to attend and share with colleagues who may be interested.
