Hi Everyone,
The PDAC meeting was well-attended, more than 30 people and standing room only until we got more chairs!
The presentations are posted on the web site, www.migc.org. The hightlight of the meeting was the ADX update. Mike Evans, the Project Manager, gave a status report and timeline. See his presentation for the details.
Tony Kalma, (Teck Cominco, Perth), is now the President, I am Past President, and we are looking for a Vice President. One potential candidate has been approached, if he decides not to accept the position, we will be seeking an alternative. The rest of the Executive is unchanged, although we may soon have a new African rep.
The Executive will be meeting in the near future to map out the future of the MIGC, significant changes are likely.
Thank you for your participation to date and I look forward to a bright future for the MIGC.
