Dear Colleagues,

Please find attached the GRSG Newsletter which includes an update on the successful launch earlier this month of the GeoEye-1 satellite with 0.41m pixel natural colour.

Also please note the new GRSG Student Awards in the categories of Field Work, Laboratory Studies, and Innovation that we plan to present at the meeting in December.  The registration for those awards closes on November 21^st and further information and application materials can be found on the GRSG website at www.grsg.org

Finally the Newsletter also contains the very strong preliminary meeting programme for our December annual meeting.  Please note the earlybird registration by December 1^st and we look forward to seeing you in London!
