Dear Colleagues,
The annual general meeting of the Geological Remote Sensing Group (GRSG) will be held on December 10 and 11 at the Geological Society of London, Burlington House, Piccadilly.
The theme of this year’s meeting is ‘High Resolution Remote Sensing’ with a focus on the geoscientific applications of IKONOS, Quickbird, Worldview, and GeoEye plus the increasingly popular use of earth viewers such as Google Earth and Microsoft Virtual Earth. We are also seeking papers on other high resolution applications including hyperspectral surveys, field spectrometers, core logging, ore sorting, and digital elevation models. Please find attached a flyer for the meeting and feel free to circulate this to your colleagues and associates who may be interested.
Please join us in London later this year and share your recent work on high resolution geological remote sensing.
Best regards,
Dan Taranik
