Please find attached the GRSG’s Newsletter 48 which contains some exciting new developments in the field of geological remote sensing.
This issue also contains abstracts from the December Annual Meeting on the topic of ‘Geological Remote Sensing of Developing Countries’. For those of you who attended the December meeting, author permissions have been received to distribute their presentations and the master CD is being copied now for mailing in mid-March. If you were not able to attend the meeting but would still like to receive the CD of Powerpoint and PDF presentations please complete the attached registration form.
Please take a moment to update your membership for 2008 so you can receive the additional Newsletters and other announcements we plan to publish this year. The committee has begun organising the ‘High Resolution Geological Remote Sensing’ meeting in December which will highlight the geological applications of Google Earth, MS Virtual Earth, hyperspectral and field-based technologies. A call for papers will be issued shortly.
