Before you even taste that first fruit of summer, it is time to think about your winter garden! Master Gardeners Lisa and Kathleen Putnam will teach you how to seed, plant and care for fall/winter vegetables. Class will include: planning for space, seeding and planting time charts, how to amend soil, what insects/diseases to look for, water, space and sun requirements, how and when to harvest and what can be grown year around in our climate. Hands-on seeding workshop included at no charge.

She currently operates a small organic farm in Woodside and is a Master Gardener & Master Composter. Kathleen Putnam is a professional vegetable gardener serving the Mid-Peninsula.
