Master Gardeners Present: SEEDING AND PLANTING YOUR SPRING AND SUMMER GARDEN
Master Gardeners of San Mateo and SF Counties
This class will be taught in the Pacifica Sanchez Library Garden. Master Gardeners Joe Lees and Cindy Burgdorf will teach you the fundamentals of selecting veggies appropriate for your backyard garden. They will discuss both indoor and outdoor propagation techniques. This will be a hands-on class – under their direction you will plant seeds and transplants in the Sanchez garden. Joe and Cindy will also discuss how to position and prepare gardening beds for your summer vegetables. Topics include site selection, different types of garden beds, bed preparation and planting techniques for getting the most out of limited space.
Bring a hat, water bottle and gloves. Rain cancels.
