Hi all,

I hope you are having a good week!

For those of you who haven't met me, my name is Louise and I have taken over from Cat as the volunteer co-ordinator. I would just like to thank Cat for everything she has done for the co-op and for helping me get settled in this role. I will hopefully get to meet you all in the store soon, or at Cat's farewell drinks on the 19th of November at 4 Pines Brewery.

As always, we would love you to sign up for a shift this weekend: http://bit.ly/mfchelp

Finally, the Manly Environment Centre is looking for volunteers for their Ocean Care Day Festival on Sunday 6th of December. Please see below for details and please contact Liz (Liz.J...@manly.nsw.gov.au) if you are interested in helping out.

Thanks!

Louise :)

Dear Volunteer

It’s Ocean Care Day Festival time of year again!

Volunteers Needed – Earlybirds in particular!

This year Manly Environmental Centre is  celebrating its  22nd Ocean Care Day Festival – Sunday 6th December 2015. The theme this year isSupport a Sydney Marine Park’. This is the Manly Environment Centre’s biggest event of the year.

We are now recruiting volunteers for this vibrant event. The MEC requires lots of volunteers for the setup for Ocean Care Day Festival with a variety of times/shifts available throughout the day.

Setting up for the event is where they require the most volunteers as well as assisting with the bump in of exhibitors.  This an early start (from 6.00am) but the bonus is you’ll be finished by 10.30am to enjoy the rest of the day, or stay long if you can. Other shifts start later for setting up the site.

If you have two hours free at the end of the day 4.00pm – 6.00pm this will be of great assistance with packing up. In between we’ll need volunteers to help us out at various locations around the festival.

Please email me and specify the shift/s you are able to work, as soon as possible. Jill Hartley from Manly Environmental Centre will then make contact you regarding further details.

Lunch and Snacks will be provided – see list below.

Confirmation will be sent on the shifts you have been successful for, along with further information for the day.
