Dear Volunteers,

We have received a letter from our Landlord advising of continuous
blockages in the women's toilet upstairs from the Co-op. He states that
despite large signage and bins being provided someone appears to be putting
sanitary napkins down the toilet resulting in numerous costly plumber
callouts. Our Landlord has therefore advised that any future costs
associated with a blocked women's toilet will be split 50/50 between the
Manly Food Co-op and the Manly Environment Centre.

Obviously we wish to avoid this expense, so please refrain from placing any
sanitary items in the toilet. Richard, could you please advise all new
volunteers. Thanks.

Regards

Perhaps the signs could be in a few languages as Enviro centre & Co.op
have some OS volunteers. I thought the architects & their clients used
them too; always loads of people coming & going up those stairs.
