Hi all!

It's been around a year since we re-opened the MERL Tech Forum. At the same time, we started our Twitter account and hashtag #merltech. Given that the Twitter account has been much more active than the Forum, we will be moving this forum to the back burner and focusing our efforts on Twitter. We may still send the occasional update via the MERL Tech forum.

If you prefer an email-based forum, we would point you to PELICAN (the Platform for Evidence-Based Learning and Communication for Social Change) where there is an active discussion on MERL and technology/digital data aspects come up fairly often. I know some of you are already participating there already.

Please also sign up for MERL Tech News where we will share updates specifically related to MERL Tech. Sign-up can be done from http://merltech.org (see the right hand column for the box to enter your email). We love guest posts, so if you have a new report, publication, idea, case study, or something to ask/discuss/say about technology and MERL, please get in touch!

We hope some of you will be joining us in person at MERL Tech London. The agenda is here and it looks great! Registration is open until March 5, and we're selling out quickly.

We're excited to announce MERL Tech Jozi, happening on August 1-2 at JoziHub in Johannesburg, South Africa. MERL Tech Jozi will be quite small (75 people only) as it's our first event in South Africa. The call for session ideas will go out soon. We're actively seeking additional sponsors for MERL Tech Jozi, in case your organization is interested.

Lastly, save the date for MERL Tech DC, coming up again on September 5-7, 2018!

Thanks so much and warmest regards to all,

Linda
