Call for Expression of Interest_Service Providers for ICT4Eval

The Independent Office of Evaluation of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is organizing an international conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Evaluation (ICT4Eval): Using Innovative Approaches to Development Evaluation on 6 and 7 June 2017 at IFAD headquarters in Rome, Italy. IFAD is a specialized agency of the United Nations and an international financial institution.  

 

In light of recent technological advances, the conference seeks to establish if recent innovations in ICTs have demonstrable benefits to the intersecting fields of development evaluation and rural transformation. The conference aims to discuss the latest innovative approaches to the use of ICTs in evaluation and will feature best practices that have emerged from the experiences of development organizations and the private sector across the world. Participants will include senior managers and experts from United Nations agencies and international financial institutions. We will be holding a Tech Fair on the second day of the conference (7 June) and we would like to invite companies and private vendors with relevant tools to participate by setting up a booth. The Tech Fair will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase your organization and its products, reach out and communicate to a broad audience. It will serve as an interface between development practitioners and vendors. Should a vendor or company be interested, please find more information and the application form here. Participation in the fair is gratis.
