Form A

Regulations

The following are regulations of the Basti Newsgroups, which each
member hereafter called clients of the NG, “CL”, must adopt.

1-CL should provide their true real full name and the city and the
country of their residence as well as a valid email address.

Note: This information will be provided to the members, mainly through
posted welcome letters of company.

2-Your Basti Newsgroup is either closed site or public.

A closed site newsgroup is not public, only members can see and post
articles.

A public site can be viewed by anyone but only members can post
articles

Note: Company will not change this status (closed or public).

3-CL should always write appropriate language of communications in
their postings. No insult or bad intentional language of behavior.

4-CL should be respectful of other member’s rights.

The definition of the appropriate language and rights (with examples)
will be defined at the time of officially creating the company.

Obscenity and foul words and similar languages (in any forms) are
absolutely not permitted.

Arguments should be mainly on logical scientific issues rather than
psychologically heavily designed character attacks purposely directed
in appalling language debates (as often seen in many newsgroups).

5-CL cannot post other member’s writing (entirely) within the company
and post it in other newsgroups.

Generally it is recommended that articles of company remain within its
domain. However you may advertise your postings to be viewed in this
newsgroup.

While this might be in contrast to Google terms, but once the company
is legalized, it will be part of its practices.

You may publish your own postings somewhere else, but at this time
members are prohibited to copy (the entire) other member’s writings
and post it somewhere else.

6-Basti Newsgroup: (of a particular domain or field) is restricted to
the subject matter of it’s studies. For example Sci.math is related to
mathematics issues (also computer algebra systems and related topics).

No other topics of outside its domain should be disused.

7-Occasionally issues of adjacent fields and related topics may be
discussed if scientifically is related. This includes educational
issues within the educational system of the field (Articles such as
awards (in the field), grants and other similar issues).

8-The general list of fields and adjacent fields will be separately
provided to each member at the time of registration (See Form B).

9-Members may request permission to post articles seemingly outside of
the domain of the fields of studies but related to educational issues.

10- if you have nothing to post, it is better to keep it in that way.

Unfortunately, in current newsgroups, a sequence of language debates
based on ones postings will develop.

It is appropriate to stop such postings and only concentrate on real
subject of the field issues, not the psychological behavior of the
writer (or others) or other similar postings.

11-The company has the sole right to cancel the membership of a CL,
without notification and without providing any reasons whatsoever.

11a-But normally a reason will be provided (however this is company’s
total discretion).

11b-if possible a warning will be issued to a member in advance upon
disorderly conduct.

It is expected that in this case the member correct the situation,
before a cancellation is applied.

12- The Company has right to demand certain language of communications
not to be practiced, or any other types of communications particularly
related to race, religion, national origin, etc.

The company is global and respect of inter-cultural norms is expected.

13-The norm of conduct will be similar to those of public practice in
the media, educational systems, governments and major businesses, etc.

14-If membership of a person is cancelled (particularly because of
obscenity language in postings), some or all of his/her postings may
be removed from the newsgroup site (But it may remain in company’s
records for a few years).

15-If membership of a person is cancelled; he/she may rejoin the
company after three months of cancellation date.

But this depends on company’s discretion, whether approve or
disapprove the membership.

15a-If the membership is approved, member in charge should correct the
behavioral attitudes and mistakes (regarding the contract), which
caused the cancellation of his/her membership in the first place.

16-the second cancellation will result for at least a year (or more)
from the date of cancellation for the member to possibly rejoin the
company.

17-Company may cancel a membership of a person (for a period or more),
if his/her postings are continually found to be of no interest to
company’s objectives, in variety of its presentations (even if there
are no fault within the regulations of contract).

Such cases are completely within the domain of company’s decision-
making apparatus relative to local or global circumstances (such as
political, economic and other complex inter-relations at the world
levels).

18- The Company will try to introduce more appropriate discussions
within the topic of its fields related to customer’s needs.

Eventually more professionals will be hired to provide advise on these
matters.

19- once the membership developed, we will separate sites based on
interests in elementary school, high school and college level as well
as other branches including research (as it may be needed).

20-A member can cancel his/her membership at any time (after
registration). Simply notify us and we will delete your membership.

21-At this time, you need to have a Google account to see the
newsgroup.

22-Basti newsgroups are in an experimental stage on Google sites (for
several months), thus Google terms of service is applied.

There is no fee charged at this time.

23-Once the membership is increased we will transfer the site to an
independent Web host, and charge an appropriate fee.

Members can join the new company at that time (if they would like to).
Please see Form C for information for possible future company
perspectives.
